Moronism vs. Mormonism
Mike Huckabee literally believes in Adam and Eve.
And it's Mitt Romney's crazy religious beliefs that are a campaign issue?
Religion and politics, in one post. I'm back. My return can be credited to, or blamed on, my blogsister Karol "YOU SHOULD BLOG THAT" Sheinin.
It's Mitt, baby, Mitt. Welcome back to politics.

I'm not interested in arguing, nor in traffic for its own sake. But I've often wondered how a "Ron Paul sucks" experiment would play out.

Even the Vatican knows Creationism is a superstitious myth.

And, let me go on record as saying that is very likely the only thing that Mike Huckabee and I even see slightly close to one another.
Oh, and of course I should point out that I don't believe that creationism and evolution are mutually exclusive...
Posted by: Kearns on December 14, 2007 5:22 PM | permalinkI don't think he's speaking metaphorically, though. I think Huck literally believes that Eve was created from Adam's rib, a snake tricked Eve into eating fruit, then God kicked them out of the garden, etc.
I agree that they're not mutually exclusive. In fact, creation of things that *subsequently* evolved isn't disprovable, strictly speaking.
It would be like turning on a TV show that's already started. You reasonably assume that there was a start to the episode, but it's possible that the thing had ten minutes of black screen and then started, mid-plot.
