My Blog Turns Five
As of September 5, my blog is 5 years old.
I can't say I'm as committed as I once was, and I'm certainly not as prolific as when I started.
But I've made a lot of friends, a few enemies and learned an awful lot along the way.
Everyone should have at least one blog. Totally worth it.
damn, that means my 5 is this year too - December it looks like. And I'm the anti-prolific.

Not to abuse your blog, but I wanted to ask you this: do you think a web based mail (like Gmail) is reliable enough for important email?
I ask because my ISP (Embarq) is filtering legit messages. It has also been blacklisted by a number of companies, most recently Hotmail.

Yes, I think Yahoo! and Gmail are good enough. Gmail, especially so, because of the APIs available and the ability to do stuff like forward to another address and keep a copy in Gmail.
