The Rockets' Interesting Offseason

The return of Steve Francis, the return of Mike James, the return of Bonzi Wells' motivation.

Rick Adelman's more offensive-minded coaching.

An outstanding scorer in T-Mac. The best real NBA center in Yao. The #1 intangibles guy in Shane Battier.

This Argentinian PF named Luis Scola.

Call me crazy, but I think this team could win the Eastern Conference next year. Too bad they'll finish third in the Southwest division.

(This actually isn't saying much. Last year's Rockets were 5th in the West, but only one game worse than the Detroit, which was on top of the East. Figure an easier schedule, from not playing San Antonio and Dallas five times each, and they'd have had home-court advantage until the finals, instead of just in round one)

Actually the Rockets had home court advantage in the first round even though they were the 5 seed. You should really get your facts straight

I've corrected/clarified it. Thanks for the feedback.
