Have You Been Tagged?

If so, don't use Tagged.com.

If you get an invite saying "You have been tagged", delete that shit right away.

It is viral in the worst sense of the word, spamming all your Gmail contacts, with the most deceptive opt-out approach I've seen.

These guys should be ashamed of themselves.

Thanks for the warning. I have two of those in my inbox right now, and I haven't done anything with either one.

I don't understand how someone can not realize how stupid it is to give their gmail account name and password to another web site.

Because they were phished?

Because the perpetrator made their site look like Gmail?

Because the site provided a reason that looked plausible?

Because they were distracted?

Because they were tired?

Because they weren't as educated about computer security?

Dunno. Depends on the person.

No more comments! Either someone has violated Godwin's Law, I'm tired of the discussion or, most likely, the ten-week window has closed. You can, however, contact me through email.
