Tunisian blogger bemoans the increasing sex-sells approach to Arabic pop music videos (I think this Dana Bos Alaya vid is a representative example of what he's talking about).

The ensuing comments (none by the blogger himself) use the following words, with noteworthy frequency:

  • Jew, Jews or Jewish: mentioned 46 times
  • Zionist: 5 times
  • Israel, Israeli or Israelis: 100 times

I mean, what kind of pathological inability to self-criticize must a culture have, where the actions of Arabic performers in Arabic videos for Arabic record labels on Arabic television stations aimed at an Arabic audience is the Jews' fault?

Oh yeah, and the attempts to save the (non-Arab) Muslims of Darfur from slaughter, rape and starvation are part of a a Jewish plot to benefit Israel, according to the President of Sudan.
