Note to self: that site with the "Z" where you can look up mailing addresses is called "Zaba". (It has my five most recent addresses, recorded in the right order, and no false positives. Pretty impressive. And creepy.)

Wow, that is creepy, they must be circumventing privacy laws somehow.

I just chatted with Joe, apparently this is all completely legal. I guess I'm used to the field of education (being a teacher) where many types of information are kept confidential. I am surprised... why must addresses be public knowledge?

Much of their data seems to come from the same places that Credit Card companies get their mailing lists. It lists many of my old addresses, including one work address, and many of which have my year of birth and my Dad's year of birth (even though he's not me...) (we do have the same name, though...)

Heh ... if you were your own dad, that'd be an amazing trick.

I can't find myself. I guess I don't exist.

That is so crazy! I stopped by to look at your tribute to the 2,996 project and left feeling heavy hearted AND freaked out!

You can send a letter to the zabasearch.com folks and they will remove you from their listings.

Sorry I was wrong they changed their privacy policy since I last looked.

I want to find out the phone # to a girl I work with.
There is unbelievable chemistry between us. I found her my space page and wrote her a message telling her how I felt. She just moved and has not logged on to her my space page in a week. I am her boss which makes things a little dicey, so I want her to read my message before Monday when I see her next. If you
can point me in the right direction. I know her birth day and she is semi famous has been on T.V and
commercials. I just want to call her to give her nudge to read my message. You will be acting as cupid if you help out Thanks in advance!

By the way Zaba search found her brother but I an not calling him, that would seem like stalking.

No more comments! Either someone has violated Godwin's Law, I'm tired of the discussion or, most likely, the ten-week window has closed. You can, however, contact me through email.
