Ahmadinejad: I Challenge You to a ... Debate!
Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's latest nuclear stall tactic is insisting on a televised debate with George W. Bush:
"I suggest holding a live TV debate with Mr. George W. Bush to talk about world affairs and the ways to solve those issues," he said.
"The debate should be go uncensored in order for the American people to be able to listen to what we say and they should not restrict the American people from hearing the truth."
The sad part is that I think Ahmadinejad — far more articulate and canny — would whip Bush's ass.
The funny part is that the president of Iran is concerned about media censorship in the US.
Or maybe it's the other way around.
There's a reason the world is afraid of Iran: they have a smarter leader than we do.
David Duke is somewhat intelligent.
So was Adolph Hitler. After all, he fixed Germany's economy so completly it was admired in the US (and around the world) at the time (pre-Poland Invasion). "Smarter Leader" means jack these days if you have the charisma of a turd in the pool.
Do you mean to suggest that we define a (wo)man by something other than their words and actions?
Bush would lose; but not because Ahmadinejad would beat him. Bush would open his mouth and spew that Cowboyesque horseshit he does when pressed on tough issues. Ahmadinejad could simply point and say "Look at this backward redneck hillbilly horsefucker" and win without ever answering a single question.

Given the societal framework they are both working within, I would say Bush is far, far worse than Ahmadinejad.
If you think about it, that's really the only fair way to judge them or us. Viewing "their" actions withing "our" frame of reference will show "them" to be evil, regardless of who "they" and "our" are.
