Yet more cool, random links I've accumulated:
- A really simple CSS trick, using a background grid for layout. One of those obvious-in-hindsight ideas.
- Advice on sharpening your kitchen knives.
- A directory of bookmarklets, which are like peanut butter to Firefox's jelly. They're both good, but are freaking scrumptious when combined.
- Steve Yegge goes nuts with the advice on emacs efficiency, detailing some cool tricks and some ways to shave, um, seconds per year off your code editing.
- A proof-of-concept for solving Sudoku with SQL-Server (via Jordan)
- The best free software for Windows, for 100 tasks. Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People", condensed. Very condensed.
