Andre Iguodala with a Sick Alley-Oop

How do the Sixers have a losing record when a guy as nasty as this is their third-best player. (via TrueHoop)

And how is Chris Webber getting 20 and 10, while only missing 3 games and people forget he exists? Shawn Marion and Kevin Garnett barely do that, while Tim Duncan and Shaquille O'Neal don't.

And, for the record, I still think Allen Iverson is the MVP: 32.8 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 7.5 apg, 2.0 spg. That is ill. He plays hurt. He plays 43 minutes a game.

Comments: Andre Iguodala with a Sick Alley-Oop

I was watching that game and yelled out loud when that happened.

The Sixers have a losing record mainly because they play no defense. Webber and Korver are liabilities on defense, and their defensive-minded players (like John Salmons) aren't great and don't play much.

People forget Webber exists because he hardly plays defense and the offense grinds to a halt when Webber gets the ball. (See Stephen Jackson or Tracy McGrady for similar types of offensive players. Though Webber sees the court well, the offense has little motion when he's involved.) He can hit the jumper and rebounds well, but he doesn't help him team win. Marion, Garnett, O'Neal and Duncan all help their teams win, and all play defense.

Iguodala will be dope and the Sixers should keep him. He's still really young and has tremendous upside.

Now that I live about 15 miles from Philadelphia, I get the Philly stations (obviously) and games on regular cable (though I have the League Pass so it doesn't matter), but a popular debate around here is "trade Iverson?" these days.
