AdSense and Ass Don't Mix

Earlier, I had wondered aloud about my drop in ad impressions.

I think I figured it out: Google is less tolerant of risqué content. And my five most-visited posts yesterday were:

All but the curry one are deemed inappropriate for AdSense and get my alternative Amazon ads. So it's basically just that I can't count on the posts about sex generating revenue through the usual channels. Which is a goddamn shame, because people love them. I feel like Buck Swope, trying to get that business loan from the bank.

Perhaps it's that Google won't let folks buy AdWords for keywords that are adult in nature, so you end up getting no AdSense ads for those pages? (I don't know, I'm just guessing.)

After that run of AdSense revenue dip, my revenues jumped up almost 30% above normal. Strange ...
