Chinese Backstreet Boys

So what's the best part of this lip sync to "I Want It That Way"?

  • The plaintive eyebrow expressions
  • The matching Yao Ming jerseys
  • The fact they only know about 2/3 of the words
  • The roommate so absorbed in World of Warcraft that he doesn't look back once

Comments: Chinese Backstreet Boys

Okay, that was hilarious. I will save that for a rainy day when I'm really down.

Dude, great viral video potential. I don't know what's funnier: the fact that the kid's got a cast on his hand, or seeing two Chinese kids trying to thrash headbang to the Backstreet Boys. Only thing that would have made this complete is to see them throw the horns.

As an aside: in your repost-to-LJ-thingy, could you post the URL to your blog permalink at the end of the LJ entry to make it easy to get here to comment? Thanks.

The best part was every single thing that the guy on the right did. His crazy smirks, smiles and mouth movements were something close to genius.

And just for the record, this video is exactly why humanity needs the Internet.

Dossy:

This is fixed on future posts.

I also disabled LJ comments, so people have to comment here.

I wish there was some way to redirect folks reading http://www.livejournal.com/users/joegrossberg/ though.

Or at least some simple way to get notifications when people comment there.

Cool, saw the changes to your LJ postings - turned off comments, added the comment link - great!

Yeah, not being able to get email notifications when folks leave a comment on a feed is a drag. Have you tried adding the node to your RSS? I wonder if LJ's feed thingy is clever and will link folks through to that. There's a bunch of different "comment metadata" extensions to RSS that you might want to explore.

My main wishlist is that -- notify me when someone comments on a particular syndicated LJ (even if it isn't mine, I might want to watch it) -- and the fact that I need to hack up an old plugin to integrate two Six Apart products.

No more comments! Either someone has violated Godwin's Law, I'm tired of the discussion or, most likely, the ten-week window has closed. You can, however, contact me through email.
