The Scribe extension to Firefox is a pretty cool solution to the "Oh, shit, I just typed that huge email/entry/comment and then my browser crashed/I closed the window/I hit the back button" web annoyance.

But the Auto-Save Forms greasemonkey script is even better — it automatically does the saving for you. In fact, it's easily my all-time favorite Greasemonkey script.

Am I missing something here, or is the better of the two not getting the props it deserves?
