Diverse Blogging Results in Diverse Email

I checked my email after a three-day weekend, and it included the following:
- A woman who'd read a book authored by the mother of Susan Smith (Smith is famous for murderering her own sons), saying she believed Smith was innocent and wanted to know her current mailing address
- A Saudi guy(?) asking how to view websites that are blocked in his country
- A woman who said her arthritis-burdened husband was unhappy, save for the solace he found in Freecell, asking if I could recommend any challenging game numbers
Naturally, none of them ever refer to the entry/UL in question (e.g. "[I] was wondering if the address for susan is current")
For the record, my responses were:
- I don't have any information more recent that what is in the original Susan Smith post.
- Sorry, I can't help you, other than what I've already written about circumventing censorship. Good luck.
- I have her the email address of that Freecell aficionado who'd emailed me earlier this month.
Due to the vagaries of Google PageRank, I've actually gotten a dozen emails each, on the subjects of How to View Blocked Sites and impossible Freecell.
I also got some fan mail last week for my friend Brad Rutter, the Jeopardy finalist, who won the first game of three and finally abandoned the greasy Pat Riley haircut. Judging by body language, that is one confident motherfucker. I think he can will himself to victory and that $2 million. Why do only the crap shows like American Idol have odds posted?
Thanks for the updates on Brad on 'Jeopardy'! Proves to all us trivia nuts that what we think is useless information really isn't. There's a whole bunch of Canadians up here keeping our fingers crossed for him.
