Never Underestimate the Value of a Good Link

My entry on how to make a good, simple curry is the #1 link on del.icio.us's popular list — 211 links.

Of my 3030 page (not file) requests yesterday, 2707 were for that page.

It's easily my most popular entry since the Ghettopoly controversy, and various ones about celebrity sex.

Why? A simple mention on LifeHacker.

Since it's so popular, I'm going to add some footnotes and edit it a bit. I might add a Cooking for Engineers-style diagram too.

Comments: Never Underestimate the Value of a Good Link

I went through the same thing with my site Fontleech. I got a link from Lifehacker the first day (which led to a link from MetaFilter). Then I got to watch the traffic plummet down from that huge spike. :)

Yeah, I'm sure it'll tail off. But hopefully some people will stick around for future reading.
