I used "dyke" because you did on your blog; normally I'd stick with "lesbian".

Well, you were Jewish before being born a lesbian...at least that's what my left coast Jewish Lesbian friends tell me.

I know some scientists who'd say that both paths uh..sparked probably at the same time. As for the word "dyke," It has some strong power behind it. Lesbian is sorta, no pun intended...pussy.
