Bloglines "Related" Meme

Go to Bloglines. Find your own blog. (If it's not there you can sign up and add it. If you don't have a blog this one's not for you.) Click related feeds. Post the top 5 (or more) on your blog.

People subscribed to my feed also read:
1. kottke.org - Jason Kottke's weblog, home of fine hypertext products
Kottke's site is alright; he's one of the few A-list non-niche bloggers I can tolerate. His linkblog is really good, the design is nice and, every now and then, he has a really good, innovative idea about blogs.
2. Gizmodo - Gizmodo is an online review dedicated to gadgets, gizmos, and cutting-edge consumer electronics.
I hate hardware. I hate gizmos and gadgets. My cell phone is a piece of shit. I use 1 billionth of the features on my digital camera. My PDA collects dust. I don't have a laptop. My car stereo is ghetto (even if the CD player itself is new). My home stereo doesn't work. I don't have an MP3 player. So, while it might be good for its niche, I'll read this blog when hell freezes over.
3. The Doc Searls Weblog - The Continuing End of Business As Usual
I used to read this, because of his geek credibility, but there's too much political stuff mixed in. If Doc had a "tech only" feed like Mark Pilgrim, or separate blogs, like Ben Goodger, I'd start reading again.
4. Instapundit.com - Instapundit
The most overrated blog on earth. I wish he would post less, and concentrate more on the quality of each post, instead of the current avalance of one-liners.
5. Extremetech - Core Technology How-to, Reviews, News and Commentary
See Gizmodo (above).
Pretty weird, that there's so little overlap with my own personal reading list.
Unfortunately I seem to be listed twice on bloglines, and I'm sure both are a couple of subscribers, so I'm not sure how valid it is.
I did, however, just add a blog because of this: Engadget. Before you rail against gadgets and gizmos again, let me specify that I'm subbed to just the gaming category...
Posted by: Kearns on January 28, 2005 1:52 PM | permalinkWell, I have 3 -- one for index.rdf, one for index.rss and one for index.atom -- it's not "smart" (or "dumb"?) enough to group them together.
Also, I don't mind hardware fandom ... I'm just not into it myself.
