Arafat Conspiracy Theories

In an article called "Big Blind Spot at ArabNews", LGF displays very large blind spots of their own.
ArabNews pushes the moronic "Arafat wuz poisoned" conspiracy theory to the Arab world: Poisoning Rumors Fail to Die Down.
They're doing this because it's more palatable to the masses than discussing the very real possibility that the old terrorist died of AIDS.
Not very Islamic, that.
It's an absurd double-standard that the world's oldest terrorist couldn't have been poisoned, but that it's somehow likely that he contracted HIV from gay sex. (He doesn't specifically state that as the means of infection, but none of the rumors I've seen mention I.V. drug use, blood transfusions, etc. It's clearly implying "Arafat was a fag"!
And it's flat-out outrageous to call dying of AIDS "not very Islamic." Imagine the backlash if someone said that dying of AIDS was un-Christian.
And last, but not least, if Arafat does turn out to have died of AIDS, does it not occur to LGF's Charles Johnson that the people who blame the Mossad for 9/11 would find a way to implicate Israel in infecting Arafat?
Oh, finally, I've been waiting for an Arafat post...
The AIDS and infection/poisoning from the Mossad have occured to me, but I'd like to throw in my best theory:
He was poisoned by members of the PLO who wanted him out of their way. The French doctors see that it was some kind of poisoning (probably one of those toxic metals that are hard to detect in the body), but they won't say because people will assume that Israel did it, and that could lead to a serious backlash.

I do think it was natural causes, though -- he was 75 and under a huge amount of stress.
