update Back up (for now), a mere 5 hours later.

How did the widely-praised online bookmark service get so popular?

I've been using it less than a week and have hit at least three extended periods of nothing but "503 Service Unavailable" errors.

Guys, I appreciate the cool work, and the fact that it's free ... but the most important thing a web service can offer is reliability.

Now Joe, I don't know if it is related to this or not, but when I used your excellent Python scripts to upload my FF bookmarks, it crashed. See my blog.

Yes, Marcus, it's the same thing.

If the del.icio.us website is down, no scripts are going to be able to use it.

(P.S. It's not "my" script; I just modified a line and don't really deserve much in the way of credit.)
