Stop using Internet Explorer. Download Firefox.
- It's free.
- It's safer.
- It offers more cool features (e.g. blocking pop-up windows).
Don't want to take my word for it? Here's a more persuasive argument about why you should switch.
Of course, maybe you like viruses, spyware and excessive advertising — but you should know that you don't have to be hassled by them.

Akk! This is all just a desperate last-ditch effort from the open-source religious loonies, helped by a fringe media beating up yet another anti-business rant disguised as "balance."
Now is the eve of the release of the One True Browser, IE6 on XP/SP2. Like Firefox, IE6XPSP2 is free, safer and has more cool features, including pop-up blocking and (open-source can never give you this) the Internet Explorer spinny blue thing. Plus, plus, it comes from Microsoft, so you know it's good for free trade and the USA economy.
Why switch to a shaky freebie to when you can upgrade to a fully supported, commercial product?

There is no truth to the rumour that Alan posted this using Firefox.
