Goddamn Bobby Brown

Yet another word I've been pronouncing incorrectly for years: prerogative.

Pronounced, more or less, like it's spelled.

But I have someone else to plame this time, unlike when I:

  • referred to Apple's founder as Steve Jobs (as in the plural of the book of Job, not as in careers)
  • told Pam something ran the gamut (and pronounced it guh-MUTT).

(thanks David

Incidentally, I wonder if today's HS kids (whom, I'm informed, don't even know who Boyz II Men are, much less New Edition) view Bobby Brown the same way 20-somethings view (pre-Chapelle Show notoriety) Rick James.

Comments: Goddamn Bobby Brown

As best as I can remember, I think the backup singers say it properly.

No more comments! Either someone has violated Godwin's Law, I'm tired of the discussion or, most likely, the ten-week window has closed. You can, however, contact me through email.
