If you use Firefox and

• frequently visit a search page (e.g. Google, eBay, Dictionary, Bugzilla)
• want to save yourself the trouble of navigating through a large Bookmarks folder
• you want the quickest way to visit my site without making it your homepage (CTRL-L J ENTER)

You should look into bookmark keywords; they're a nice feature. Someone compiled an enormous list of such shortcuts for you to peruse.
