"American Wedding"

Four observations:

  • Seann William Scott (Stiffler) is a great actor, within a very, very narrow range.
  • I bet there will be an American Pie 4, where they have a baby. And it will be worse than the first three.
  • There is plenty of fan fiction, including a junior high prequel and one where Stiffler gets turned into a woman.
  • What kind of bachelor party has only three guys (and not even the groom!) invited to it?

Comments: "American Wedding"

I like how the fan fiction uses Cadence, Michelle's sister from American Wedding as Stiffler's, long time girlfriend.

American Wedding was lame for many reasons, but the most lame was that Oz was not in the movie and they didn't even explain his absence. He just wasn't there.

Nor were 4 out of the original 5 chicks.

Personally, I wouldn't have found a contrived explanation much better.

Most of the actors had the sense to stay out of the movie... I'm surprised Jason Biggs agreed to do it. Maybe they just offered him a good deal. Is it possible to find their salaries for the movie somewhere online?

I don't think it was sense; it's not like asking Tom Hanks to go back and do a "Bosom Buddies" movie.

There's no way they could have done the movie *without* Jason Biggs.

No idea what the salaries were; I don't think they publicize any but the highest (i.e. in the tens of millions).
