Actually, I don't support the NCAA rule changes that Johns Hopkins is lobbying against — prohibiting schools from having both Division I programs for some sports and Division III for others — but I would like JHU to voluntarily drop its D-I Lacrosse program.

Maybe it brings in more alumni dollars and "tradition" does have some value, but the fact is, those "student-athletes" don't belong there, and I think Hopkins' desire to field a top-flight team has negative ramifications for the rest of the student body.
