Creatures in My Head - RSS

I've created an RSS feed for "the Creatures in my Head.", a daily cartoon where Andrew Bell draws amusing monsters.

It's updated daily by an ugly HTML-scraping Python script that's due to break as soon as he changes the page layout or naming conventions.

No one replied to my initial inquiry, so I just went ahead and did it. I'll take it down if they make a fuss.

Two comments,

First, your initial inquiry to create this feed was at 11:30 am, and you decided that no one would respond so you created the feed at 5:30 pm. That's not much turnaround time.

Second, the link to your feed doesn't do anything as far as I can tell. I don't know what an RSS feed is, but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to do something.

1) Yeah, I thought it was a cool idea and I wanted to do it. Asking permission was more of a courtesy than a necessity, *as far as I know*.

2) As far as the RSS goes, it's not meant to be read through a browser -- it's mean to be read through an aggregator, like Bloglines (http://www.bloglines.com)

No more comments! Either someone has violated Godwin's Law, I'm tired of the discussion or, most likely, the ten-week window has closed. You can, however, contact me through email.
