Feeling Film-Ignorant

However, out of his "semi-arbitrary" top 20 list, I've seen but one ("Rushmore", and I was too drunk to remember it well) and a good number of them, I've never heard of. Only three were released after 1980 and most are foreign. Those are probably the reasons why.
He doesn't have a "worst list" yet, but here are my tentative lists ...
Best
- Boogie Nights (1997)
- Il Conformista (1970)
- The Dancing Outlaw (1991)
- Fight Club (1999)
- Clerks (1994)
- The Big Lebowski (1998)
- Full Metal Jacket (1987)
- Raging Bull (1980)
- American Movie (1999)
- Chasing Amy (1997)
- Manos: Hands of Fate (1966)
- Twister (1996)
- Showgirls (1995)
- Planet of the Apes (2001)
- A Walk in the Clouds (1995)
- The Matrix (1999)
- Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)
- Office Space (1999)
- Easy Rider (1969)
- Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)
man, you are dead on about A Walk In The Clouds. And I am probably, gee, Keanu's chief apologist.
I hope I'm thinking about the right movie, where Keanu's a chocolate salesman who somehow hooks up with some Spanish chica whose father owns some big ass vinyard, they want to marry, hilarity ensues? That one? Yeah, that one was terrible.

Yes, that's the movie. Ugh.
Tiff:
I didn't think Office Space was terrible; just terribly overrated. American Beauty was pretty good.

And I didn't say the Matrix sucked, just that it was overrated.
