That does not mean they're the same temperature.

So if you come to our neck of the woods in mid-November, bring a jacket.

It's funny how climate works. If you go from Washington DC to San Francisco in May, you might need to bring a jacket. I lived in SF for a couple years, and I remember it usually being a bit on the cooler side.
