More Protester Thuggery

Here's yet a clip of footage from last weekend's rally in DC. Members of ANSWER destroy counter-protesters' signs and shove a pregnant woman. How progressive.

Then again, this is the same group that proclaimed its "unconditional support" for anti-Coalition, anti-UN, anti-Red Cross terrorists, flies the North Korean flag at their marches and advocates destruction of the United States.

Comments: More Protester Thuggery

I think that your bias against protestors is getting weird. Most protestors aren't like this. And those protesting on the other side are just as ridiculous at times.

Why not write about some right-wing, pro-life abortion protestors? They are the most violent of all. They advocate life, yet at the same time wish for the death of those involved with abortions.

Oh, I loathe right-wing extremists too.

But I've only written about it twice, and I criticize conservatives often. I don't think it's indicative of a weird "bias against protesters".

Why not right-wing protesters, per se? Because they're not out marching in large numbers.

In any case, I don't have any pretense of being unbiased. This isn't a news site; it's a blog.

"This isn't a news* site; it's a blog."

*News site other than Fox News. Heh heh.

Heh. The same Fox News that threatened to sue The Simpsons for their satirical news ticker :)

Yeah, people might confuse the news ticker on The Simpsons for the real Fox News ticker (with entries such as "90% of Democrats are gay" I suppose that is a possibility :)

Ugh. Fox News.

Well it's better than the 700 Club / CBN / Pat Robertson.

Watching that "news" makes my head hurt.

Where do you find all these cool blogs? Where do those bloggers find all those cool stories to report on?

It's a pretty simple formula.

I write some stuff and read a lot of blogs, commenting on some.

All of those bloggers write some stuff and read a lot of blogs, commenting on some.

Repeat as necessary.

And the network effects mean that I hear/see/read a lot of stuff without having to do that much legwork.

But a lot of these people seem to be there firsthand to get photos, quotes, etc.
