Blogging as Rebuttal

Here's another good site critical of Michael Moore's opus: Bowling for Truth.
One of my favorite things about the web as a communications medium is that it forces people to answer their critics. And sometimes that even favors the criticized party, because they can make a case that they're doing the right thing, instead of letting people adopt stances based on misunderstanding.
Similarly, Eugene Volokh chastises Slate for taking a Bush quote so far out of context that the meaning is reversed.
When I was younger, I would read two sections of the paper: sports (duh) and Letters to the Editor. For some reason, the latter always interested me more than the "news"; I think I intuitively sensed (and still do) that there's more truth in conversation than a one-way broadcast.
Yes, and here's Michael Moore's rebuttal to the critics of Bowling:

Too bad you didn't include that, as it makes your "blogging as rebuttal" case pretty well.
Actually I did, almost two months ago:

Which is why I said "another" good site.
But thanks for your comments. I think they (and my response) reinforce my point about blogging being a back-and-forth medium instead of one-way.
