With Google's prominence, there's been a fair amount of attention to their new ~ operator.

However, the results don't live up to expectations.

Compare: "johns hopkins ~college" and "johns hopkins university". The former doesn't pick up JHU's main page at all.

Then again, "max ~iron" works like a charm and gets me Mattel's Max Steel page.
