I am looking for a way to contact Susan Smith. I know I may sound crazy and I know she killed her children but I think is truly sorry for this. I also think that she is a very beautiful lady and would like to know how I can write her or phone her in prison.

I really think its pathetic that she should be able to have communication with the Real World - after what she did to David Smith and her two sons lives. She should just sit in a prison cell for the rest of her life and reflect on her actions; instead of thinking about making friends or even meeting some other man and starting a new family and possibly the doing same thing over again!

why should susan smith be labled as a victim??? david,alex,&michael are the victims here. so what if she went through some shit in her life. havent we all??? i know i have, and my boys are still here. god forgives all, but why would he forgive her? she dont deserve to be able to talk to anyone outside of her prison cell. those boys will always have a place in my heart and so will david. i would however like to get ahold of david smith. if anyone knows how to get ahold of him, let me know. thanks. i hope i didnt offend anyone, but i still really havnt gotten over what had happened to michael, alex and david.

WHY IN HEAVENS NAME , AND I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND IT, SHE WAS NOT EXECUTED FOR THIS CRIME? THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN EYE FOR TWO EYES.OUR JUDICIAL SYSTEM HAS MANY FLAWS AND THIS IS UNMISTAKABLY ONE OF THEM.

I believe that if she is truly repentent, she will be forgiven by God. How can we look into the hearts of others? We must forgive if we want to be forgiven by God for our own transgressions, no matter what they are. Remember the thief/murderer on the cross next to Jesus? He was forgiven that very day for his evil deeds and was promised eternal life. So, we too must forgive, no matter how painful. Jesus Christ died for all of us... we have Salvation because of his sacrifice. If Susan has truly accepted Jesus Christ into her life as her Lord and Savior, asking His forgiveness, she too will have Eternal life.

I am married to a man who has 2 children from a prior divorce, and it is hell..... I feel so sorry for these kids, and at times I wonder why she does'nt just give them to us, but I think that a mother knows the ridicule they will face if they (((give up their kids)))) maybe its some of societys fault that she killed them.... she apparently did'nt want david to have them, but at the same time she didn't want them...I just cant understand why? anyway it was a time of desperate measures for her to have her way, but not be shamed for ((giving up her kids))) by david, her family, and us.

The Apostle Paul, who by the way wrote 65% of the new testament murdered and persecuted christians. He boiled them in oil,drawed and quartered them tortured many of Gods people. Yet when he protested to Jesus on the road to Damascus that he was not worthy to be a follower. Jesus simply said, MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU. If Susan has truely repented of these horrific murders, then His grace is sufficient for her to.

I too remember this as if it just happened. I have a son with the same name that was close in age to one of the boys. Why are people so cruel? She IS paying for what she has done. I am appalled by those who really think she should suffer the same fate. Do you really want to live in an eye for an eye society? Even on a much smaller scale it would be scary for all.

I am also apalled at what she did and can never, even on my worst day, imagine doing something like this or even hurting a child at all. As a mother of four I can only say that there was no way she was in her right mind and certainly has mental issues. However, I do believe she still deserves the opportunity to repent and we are not to judge in the end, only God. I truly hope the best for her under the circumstances.

After watching the programme and reading through websites, I had an urge to contact you but not to give you abuse or give you my opinions because im sure your sick of people doing that. Instead id just like to ask, what has your life bacame sine the incident and how are you approached in the prison??? Of course she is sorry for what she did...look where she is today. No matter how sorry she is, her tow little boys died a terrible death of no fault of their own. I believe in an eye for an eye and cannot believe she is ale to communicate with the outside world. She should be strapped into a car and sent into the lake like she put those babies thru. Eye for an eye you piece of shit.

I was about two months pregnant when this crime happened. I remember with crystal clarity watching Susan Smith on the tv 'crying' without any tears. I made the comment to my fiance (now hubby) 'she knows where her children are'. I am the mother of two children who are alive and two children who were stillborn and I was abused as a child also. Sometimes I just stare at my children wondering how anyone could hurt a child.
My mother is alot like Susan Smith, the only difference is my mom didnt kill us. Believe me, it wasnt for lack of trying. I didnt grow up with some psycho underlying homicidal tendency. I hate when people do things and then blame the abuse they suffered.
Child killers have no place in my heart. I am pretty compassionate but that is where I draw the line.She isnt sorry for what she did. Her behavior in prison answers that question.
Her prisoner # 221487 and she is in Leath Correctional Institution in South Carolina. You can either plug in her name or that number and it will give you directions on how to contact her. That website that her ad was on is writeaprisoner dot com. The site states she doesnt receive anymore mail. Funny. She stated in a letter to the site that she didnt realize it would be so sensationalized. Well duh, stupid. How could she not?
I only know all that stuff because I used to want to move to SC so I could find a reason to go to jail..so we could be roomies and I would beat her up everyday. I would just blame it on my abuse. Haha!
