Who Armed Saddam?
This chart ought to refute the anti-War claim that we (the US) are responsible for Saddam's military strength in the first place. Compared to the United States, ten nations imported equal or greater numbers of arms into Iraq — and every single one opposes this war.

er... I don't think anyone with any sense thinks we are soley responsible for arming Iraq. More to the point is that we gave them ANY weapons.
It's like saying, gee. I only sold 10,000 submachine guns and anti-personal mines to a mad dictator, I feel much better now.
Not trying to be a smart-ass (well okay a little but that's because I'm a jerk). Why the hell do we even do a little of this kind of thing?
