Initial thoughts:
- Looks a lot like Mozilla Mail (which isn't a compliment).
- The naming is unfortunate, since there's already a Netscape Communicator.
- If you can't IM people on Yahoo, MSN and ICQ, then you're gonna need at least one other IM app running.
- You can't POP Hotmail and Yahoo mail accounts, so you still need a browser.
- I don't find myself yearning for new features in my mail and IM clients.

There is a way to get Hotmail mail without a web browser. More recent versions of Outlook Express allow you to send and receive mail for a Hotmail account. But, yeah, it is most likely not POP.
However, I believe that you must still sign up on the website.
