Now, I Browse with Phoenix
So I've started using Phoenix 0.3 as my web browser at home (WinXP). Still use Mozilla at work, because I also use its mail tools.
To be completely honest, I haven't thought Mozilla was too slow or too bloated in a loooong time. What I like about Phoenix are the little things:
To be completely honest, I haven't thought Mozilla was too slow or too bloated in a loooong time. What I like about Phoenix are the little things:
- CTRL-Q doesn't quit the app
- customizeable toolbars (though I'm still kinda used to the usual UI)
- download status goes in a sidebar instead of a pop-up window
- it uses the exact same icon as mozilla
- it doesn't automatically, or gracefully import your bookmarks from Mozilla
- it doesn't copy your cookies and password manager stuff from Mozilla
