A Load off My Back
Yay. Lost another four pounds.
Here's today's Friday Five, determined in the very nerdy manner of going to someone's archives and running the one-line python script:
python -c "import random; print int(round(random.random() * 20 + 1))"
1. Where were you born?
Mount Stuyvesant Hospital in New York City.
2. If you still live there, where would you rather move to? If you don't live there, do you want to move back? Why or why not?
I don't live in NYC and, although I never get tired of visiting, it's phenomenally expensive and if my neighbor's Latin music and car horn-honking irritates me, I doubt I'd be satisfied with Manhattan's level of peace and quiet.
3. Where in the world do you feel the safest?
With my cats.
4. Do you feel you are well-traveled?
Yes, but not recently. During my Junior year of college, I visited five continents.
5. Where is the most interesting place you've been?
The Sahara Desert. There's such a pristine beauty to the place, not just in the sense that it's untouched by civilization, but in the sense that almost nothing is there. No cacti. No grass. No mountains. Just indistinguishable dunes of sand stretching to the horizon.
