Misspelling Gets Hits
Interesting side-effect of my referrer logs — I can see when I've misspelled something. If I'm listed high in the search results, and the phrase is a very common one (i.e. not something like "pdf2flash"), it's probably because of a typo.
For example, I erroneously put the former NBA player's name as "Charles Barkely" instead of Charles Barkley. Someone in Canada searched Google for "charles barkely [sic] height" and found my page. So, I fixed it, and here's your answer: he was listed at 6'6", but was really 6'4" by common consensus and comparing him to his peers.
Another example: all this time I've been calling Amiri Baraka "Amiri Bakara".
